I'm going to have to get a move on to get my steps in today. A lazy morning followed by some board gaming means I'm a bit low for this time of day.
In order to reclaim some points because I wasn't able to attend the annual dinner, a teammate of mine, Matt, joined me for some casual Sunday morning board gaming.

We played a game called Dragon Canyon which I got from their Kickstarter campaign last year... maybe the year before. I hadn't had the opportunity to play it, and neither had Matt, so we gave it a try. Obviously the first play through takes a lot longer than the advertised time, but I can see it being a relatively quick game if necessary. There is a lot more to it than I think we really experienced on this play through. For example, we didn't even touch the Drayon Canyon tile itself or use any of the dragons. But it is a fun resource collecting game with battles and I would certainly play it again. It even supports solo play, which I'm now interested in trying out.

And now for some walking.
Today I am grateful for:
I ended up getting my steps in while watching the Super Bowl.
