Repairs

I took the car in to the mechanic this morning. Sometimes they are able to give me a drive somewhere (usually the office in the past), and other times they are not. But today I thought I'd see how long it would take for me to walk home from there. Turns out it was only about a 20 minute walk. Apart from one fairly steep part early on, it didn't pose any real challenges. I guess my daily walking/running that I've been doing for the past ~3 months has paid off.

And with traffic still light, I don't feel like I'm constantly taking my life in my own hands on the side of the road. Of course the cost of repairs might do me in, but that is another thing. :)

Things I'm grateful for:

  • When the kids are playing outside
  • Not living far from Hamilton
  • Being in better shape than usual
